Founded as a non-profit organization based in Singapore, GCMD seeks to support industry in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by developing future fuel policies and testing low-carbon solutions.
MSC has championed the deployment of a variety of alternative fuels and has set a clear goal of net decarbonization by 2050.
As an Impact Partner, MSC will contribute funds to GCMD’s pooled resources for testing and trials.
“We are committed to helping fight climate change and at GCMD we believe we have done so
found an excellent partner to drive the green transition in our industry,” he said

MSC noted that it will also provide in-kind contributions through project participation, such as: B. Access to vessels, operational equipment and other assets, as well as vessel operational data and assessment reports, to support GCMD’s projects.
