“K” Line: Crew Development Seminar in India – with the topic “Changing Forward”

MUMBAI: K Marine Ship Management Pte. GmbH (KMSM)* a ship management company that is part of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. (“K” LINE) group, instead of a crew seminar recently spent two days in Mumbai, India.

More than 50 Indian seafarers (officers) from Oil Tanker, LNG Tanker, LPG Tanker and LNG Bunker Ship managed by KMSM attended the crew seminar. The event included a lively exchange of views and a workshop with KMSM Superintendents on root cause analysis and recidivism, examining actual accidents and mental health issues. After the crew seminar, KMSM held an anniversary awards ceremony and social gathering, to which families were also invited.

President Yukikazu Myochin and many executives of “K” LINE attended the seminar. At the presentation of the anniversary award, the President and Vice President thanked them for their longstanding contributions to safe operations and their achievements in promoting the next generation. In addition, we expressed our gratitude to seafarers for fulfilling their responsibilities over the past three years without stopping sea transport in the extremely difficult onboard environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
