Vector Logistics offers multi-temperature storage and distribution, supply chain intelligence, and sales and merchandising solutions.
AP Moller Capital said the acquisition provides Vector Logistics with an opportunity to accelerate its “Going Beyond” mission in supply chain expertise and logistics services, including expansion into additional countries to meet growing demand in Africa.
“Vector Logistics is well respected in South Africa with a long track record of success and we are delighted to contribute to its transformative vision for both the industry and the region. Vector Logistics’ reliable operations allow food products to maintain the cold chain, extending shelf life and reducing food waste,” commented Joe Nielsen, Partner at AP Moller Capital.
Meanwhile, AP Moller Capital opened a new office in Singapore last month and strengthened its investment program in the South and Southeast Asia region, aiming to provide over $750 million in capital commitments for infrastructure platforms in the region.
