Austal USA introduces EPF14 and LCS 36

With both ships in the water, production efforts will move to final outfitting and system activation to help the ships launch for sea trials. The USNS Cody, christened last month, is the Navy’s first Expeditionary Fast Transport (EPF) Flight II ship. As the first EPF Flight II, the ship represents enhanced naval medical capabilities at sea and will provide critical combat supplies in severe and competitive operational environments.

As the Navy’s 18th Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), the future USS Kingsville will be deployed in the Pacific Fleet’s area of ​​responsibility. Kingsville will be christened at the Austal USA shipyard next month.
