The Columbia Group’s Saudi Arabia office has been awarded the ABS HSQE Certificate of Company Compliance.
“The recognition certifies that Columbia Ship Management (CSM) Saudi Arabia meets the health, safety, quality and environmental requirements of the ABS Guide for Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management at Sea,” said the ship manager.
CSM strives to offer the highest quality operations through sound management systems and governance, using the latest streamlined and digitized technology, as well as investing in local human capital and building business partnerships based on trust, transparency and openness.
In 2021, it formed a joint venture in Saudi Arabia with Spectrum Group, which includes the management of 35 offshore units and rigs.
“We would like to thank ABS for the partnership and collaboration. The milestone we are celebrating today was reached together, as well as many more milestones to come. We believe in our common purpose and vision and are confident that together we will grow stronger, achieve more and bring further value to the industry, the Kingdom and the region,” said George Vassiliades, CSM’s Gulf General Manager.
