Indian Oil and CONCOR recently signed an MOU in the presence of top executives from both companies, including Shri Sanjay Swarup, CMD CONCOR, and Shri Sandeep Jain, ED/Gas, (IOCL). The purpose of the MOU is to facilitate discussions and cooperation in areas such as using LNG as a fuel, addressing petrochemical and container logistics requirements, and establishing competitive pricing for contracts at LNG Auto stations across India. The collaboration also includes potential initiatives like creating virtual storage units in CONCOR’s warehouses for Indian Oil’s petrochemical products, supplying LNG through ISO containers via Railways and Multi-Modal Logistics, and utilizing CONCOR’s MMLP at Paradip for Indian Oil’s Pet-chem rail dispatches.
This strategic initiative aims to leverage each company’s strengths to explore new avenues and enhance efficiency in the transportation and storage of essential commodities like LNG and petrochemical products. This collaboration signifies a significant step for two prominent entities in the logistics and energy sectors.
