Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) and Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide seamless and cost-effective end-to-end logistics services to customers through a single window. The collaboration between the two organizations will involve leveraging their mutual infrastructure and experience to explore business opportunities and create synergy.
The MoU will allow CONCOR to utilize SCI’s shipping services to expand its footprint overseas and offer coastal shipping services and Inland Waterways movement. Sanjay Swarup, CMD of CONCOR, highlighted the development of a wide range of customizable logistics solutions for the benefit of trade at large. This partnership aims to enhance operations and improve efficiency in the logistics sector.
By combining forces, CONCOR and SCI seek to offer integrated logistics services that meet the evolving needs of customers. The collaboration will enable the two organizations to tap into each other’s strengths to provide comprehensive solutions that address the growing demands of the logistics industry. Through this strategic partnership, both entities aim to strengthen their presence in the market and drive growth in the sector.
