Costa Cruises runs several cruises during Easter week

Italian cruise line Costa Cruises, a Carnival Corporation brand, marks the official start of its spring-summer 2023 season with a host of sailings during the upcoming Easter holiday week.

Five cruise ships will sail the Western Mediterranean offering special onboard programs, entertainment and cuisine to celebrate Easter.

Flagship Costa Toscana sails from Sardinia

The flagship of Costa Cruises, the 6,554 guests Tuscan coastwhich was launched in early 2022, is one of the cruise line’s ships that operate special Easter week cruises. Departing April 11, the 8-day round-trip cruise from Sardinia will call at Naples, Rome and Genoa, Italy; Marseilles, France; and Barcelona.

The 6,554 guests are also operating a week-long cruise Emerald Coastwhile the 3,780 guests pacific coast and the 3,780 guests Enchanting coast sail 5 and 4 day mini cruises and the 4,927 guests Diadema Coast embarks on a two-week cruise to the Canary Islands.

The 3,470 guests Costa Fortuna will be deployed in the western Mediterranean after completing her winter season in South America. On April 13, the ship will embark on a 3-day mini-cruise before embarking on a series of 14-day itineraries to destinations including Turkey and the Canary Islands. A new route for the ship will call at both the Greek and Balearic Islands.

Meanwhile, the 2,828 guests Delicious coast will offer week-long spring cruises in the Adriatic Sea between Venice and the Greek Islands.

“Sales over the past three months have been robust. Ship occupancy is growing steadily and summer programs are selling very quickly with a high demand for cabins,” said Mario Zanetti, President of Costa Cruises.

He added, “This is a very encouraging outlook considering that our capacity in the Mediterranean has increased compared to 2019, while our capacity in Northern Europe has been held constant thanks to the addition of new, state-of-the-art vessels to the fleet over the past three years, such as Costa Tuscany and Costa Smeralda.”

Several ships cruising beyond the Mediterranean Sea

In addition to its significant presence in the Mediterranean, Costa Cruises will also focus on Northern Europe itineraries and selected itineraries to Israel, Egypt and Morocco from May to September.

Costa Cruises will use the 3,780 guests Enchanting coast to Northern Europe, where the ship operates 12-day itineraries to the North Cape and nine-day cruises to the Baltic Sea.

The 3,780 guests fabulous coast will visit Iceland, Norwegian Lofoten and Greenland or Great Britain and Ireland. Also in the northern region the 5,260 guests coast Florence offers week-long cruises in the Norwegian fjords.

Other spring cruises are offered pacific coast trips to Israel and Egypt, fabulous coast Crossings to Morocco and Enchanting coast Itineraries to Lisbon.
