Adani Dhamra port, operated by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), has achieved a new record in cargo throughput. On October 11, 2023, the port handled a staggering 2,26,610 tonnes of cargo in just 24 hours, surpassing its previous record of 1,85,856 tonnes set just a few months earlier on May 30, 2023. This milestone was celebrated by officials and workers at the port, who are focused on achieving even greater success in the future under the leadership of CEO Devendra Thakar. APSEZ is the largest commercial port operator in India and is responsible for handling almost a quarter of all cargo throughput in the country.
