Maersk announced that its current direct PANZ service from Oceania to North America West Coast will be upgraded to better manage the congestion and operational difficulties affecting end-to-end logistics, most recently in New Zealand ports.

The service’s updated rotation begins April 27 in the Port of Seattle, United States.

Maersk emphasized that the upgraded service will include weekly calls to and from Auckland, New Zealand, and continued weekly calls to and from Oakland and Long Beach, California, United States.

The rotation of the updated PANZ service will be as follows:

Seattle (USA)* – Oakland (USA) – Long Beach (USA) – Auckland (New Zealand) – Sydney (Australia) – Melbourne (Australia) – Tauranga (New Zealand) – Papeete (French Polynesia)* – Surrey (Canada) * – Oakland – Long Beach – Auckland – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide (Australia)* – Tauranga – Seattle.

Destinations marked with the * symbol are served every 14 days.

“The new rotation allows for more even port coverage across Oceania and North America,” Maersk said in a statement.
