MSC Cruises launches its new flagship MSC Euribia, in June with various innovative entertainment options for guests. The ship will feature seven new theatrical productions, a revamped Carousel Lounge and one of the biggest big bands at sea.

The naming ceremony for the LNG-powered cruise ship will take place in Copenhagen, Denmark, in June this year MSC Euribia spends its inaugural season in Northern Europe.

MSC Cruises unveils entertainment for MSC Euribia

MSC Cruises unveiled the exciting entertainment program for its new flagship, MSC Euribiatoday, March 23, with a redesigned Carousel Lounge and a unique Big Band at Sea experience.

The Carousel Lounge, an iconic venue that has been a staple on Meraviglia-class ships since 2017, has been completely redesigned with an all-new layout.

For the first time, the aft lounge extends outdoors, connecting indoor and outdoor spaces and allowing guests to enjoy the sea air. At almost 11,000 square meters, the Carousel Lounge offers plenty of space to relax.

During the day the lounge serves as a multifunctional space for various activities, while in the evening the lounge transforms into an entertainment hotspot.

MSC Cruises’ latest entertainment concept, Big Band at Sea, will feature a nineteen-strong group of international musicians and singers. The guests can expect three live performances every evening with themes from rock to musicals and offer a variety of entertainment options. Guest acts will also join the band for one-off concerts.

Seven theater shows at the Delphi Theater

MSC Euribias The main show lounge, the Delphi Theater offers a seven-day program of stage shows, so no two nights are the same. Guest entertainers will join the resident theater cast for unique performances.

Guests can look forward to seven theater shows. Circus 1920 takes the audience into the magical world of the circus with breathtaking performances, dance routines and unbelievable stage designs. Generation Rock brings to life a feel-good rock show, featuring performances by cover bands from the likes of AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Kiss, Journey and Queen.

Illuminicity offers a technological experience in a video game. Jukebox L!ve celebrates funk, soul and rock ‘n’ roll in a fictional Las Vegas showroom.

Song Book – Ed Sheeran pays tribute to the superstar’s journey from street performer to packed Wembley Stadium. Variety presents guest entertainers, musicians and acrobats with programming tailored to audience, destination and time of year. On the final evening, a guest entertainer will provide entertainment with a unique show.

MSC Euribia Naming ceremony on June 8th

MSC Euribia is officially named in a Ceremony in Copenhagen on June 8th2023. The 22nd ship in the MSC Cruises fleet, the Meraviglia-class ship is built at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St. Nazaire, France.

The cruise ship is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which reduces emissions. In addition to LNG, the 183,500 gross tons MSC Euribia will also feature other advanced environmental technologies such as a Baltic Standard wastewater treatment system, energy efficiency measures and shore power connection.

The ship will also have an underwater noise management system to minimize impact on sea life. In addition to environmental measures, the ship will offer a wide range of amenities, including 10 restaurants, 21 bars and lounges, five pools, an AquaPark and one of the most comprehensive children’s program at sea.

After its naming MSC Euribia will spend her inaugural season in Northern Europe, 7-night cruises from Kiel, Germany; Rotterdam, Netherlands; and Copenhagen, Denmark to the Norwegian fjords with stops in Geiranger, Ålesund and Flaam.
