Kandla’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives have made a positive impact on community development. A key program supports the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, supplying monthly nutritional kits to 334 tuberculosis patients in Gandhidham and Anjar Talukas. Over six months, a total of Rs.14.03 lakh is allocated to enhance the recovery and well-being of these patients through improved nutrition.

Another noteworthy initiative involved a valediction ceremony marking the completion of a green hydrogen training program under the Deendayal Kaushal Vikas initiative, in partnership with the Gandhidham Collegiate Board. Certificates were awarded to 28 participants, emphasizing the importance of technical and practical training in hydrogen as a clean, renewable energy source aligned with India’s green energy goals.

These initiatives illustrate Deendayal Port Authority’s commitment to sustainable development as part of its CSR mandate, addressing critical areas such as health, education, environment, and hygiene. By contributing to national missions while making a tangible difference at the grassroots level, DPA reinforces its role in fostering community empowerment and growth.
