Bhubaneswar: On World Maritime Day, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi highlighted the state’s rich maritime heritage and its enduring connection to the ocean. In a reflective tweet, he celebrated Odisha’s legendary past, emphasizing the courage of Sadhab Pua, who was instrumental in carrying the state’s glory across the seas.

Majhi also acknowledged the contemporary significance of Paradip Port, which plays a vital role in facilitating trade. He underscored the importance of this port in enhancing Odisha’s economic landscape and its strategic position in maritime activities.

Looking ahead, the Chief Minister expressed optimism about the forthcoming Bahuda Port, promising a commitment to building a sustainable and resilient maritime future for the state. He articulated a vision that combines historical pride with modern advancements in maritime infrastructure.
