The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) has successfully completed the repair and maintenance of the Torm Venture, a large cargo tanker owned by Denmark’s Torm. This project involved significant work aimed at renewing the vessel and enhancing its operational efficiency.
Mahmood Hassan, a project manager at ASRY, noted the challenge of completing the repairs within a tight timeframe. “We had just 14 days to finish the work, although the original estimate was 18 days,” he explained. The successful early delivery was attributed to the collaborative efforts of both teams involved.
Shadhivardhan Khoat, Dry Dock Manager at Torm, expressed satisfaction with ASRY’s services, stating, “We brought in one of our oldest tankers, now over 18 years in service, for maintenance. ASRY has exceeded our expectations in quality, performance, and timing precision.”
This successful project highlights ASRY’s commitment to delivering high-quality maritime services while meeting challenging deadlines, reinforcing its reputation in the shipbuilding and repair industry.
