Safe Harbor Marinas has acquired Los Sueños Marina in Costa Rica, enhancing its global presence. CEO Baxter Underwood highlighted the marina’s appeal as a premier sportfishing destination, attracting enthusiasts from various regions, including California and the Carolinas.

Located on Costa Rica’s central Pacific coast, Safe Harbor Los Sueños features 200 wet slips and 166 dry slips, catering to luxury sportfishing boats and larger yachts up to 180 feet. The facility also includes a fuel dock and various dining options, underscoring its commitment to providing top-tier services to members.

This acquisition follows Blackstone’s recent purchase of Safe Harbor Marinas for $5.65 billion, marking a significant expansion for the largest marina and superyacht servicing company in the U.S. Safe Harbor now operates 140 marinas and shipyards worldwide, further solidifying its status in the marine industry.
