Azolla has introduced an EUA Requisition Platform to facilitate timely compliance with the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). This platform offers live, transparent EUA pricing and enables direct delivery to Market Operators and Holders of Account (MOHA). By streamlining onboarding and reducing Know Your Customer (KYC) and settlement processes, it provides a quick and efficient procurement pathway for shipowners and charterers.

Traditionally, access to EUA pricing has been limited to exchange members, but Azolla’s platform presents real-time indicative pricing that can be locked for approvals, speeding up transactions. Once confirmed, trades are executed, and audit-ready confirmations are provided without needing exchange membership. The onboarding process typically takes about two business days, aligning with standard payment procedures.

Many shipowners and charterers have yet to secure their EUAs due to barriers such as lengthy KYC requirements and strict payment terms. Azolla aims to democratize access to the EUA market and simplify compliance through its platform.

In addition, Azolla’s carbon trading desk offers real-time support, assisting clients with quotes, execution, and settlement, ensuring a seamless experience from price review to MOHA credit.
