Everllence, formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions, has officially launched its new brand identity, marking a pivotal moment in its strategic evolution. CEO Uwe Lauber unveiled the new nameplate at the company’s headquarters in Augsburg, Germany, with simultaneous ceremonies at key European locations in Oberhausen, Berlin, Zurich, and Copenhagen. Lauber emphasized that the name change aligns with their “Moving big things to zero” strategy, focusing on decarbonization and efficiency solutions for sectors facing significant emissions challenges.
Gunnar Kilian, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, highlighted that Everllence aims to become a leading provider of sustainable decarbonization solutions, reinforcing its commitment to climate protection and the future of mechanical engineering. The company remains part of the Volkswagen Group, with its product and service offerings unchanged.
The name “Everllence” combines the concepts of “ever” and “excellence,” reflecting over 250 years of industrial history and a commitment to innovation. This rebranding follows the 2018 transition from MAN Diesel & Turbo to MAN Energy Solutions, as the company shifted focus towards technologies that mitigate climate-damaging emissions across various industries. Everllence continues to develop solutions like marine engines, large-scale heat pumps, and carbon capture technologies, actively participating in the global transition to sustainable energy.
