Jason Turner, CEO of Entanglement, founded the AI quantum computing company in 2017 but pivoted from quantum hardware to quantum logic and algorithms. His team developed solvers that utilize quantum principles on various non-classical computing technologies, enhancing applications in oceanography and maritime security. They integrate advanced sensors to detect previously undetectable phenomena in real-time.

In January, Entanglement acquired Applied Ocean Sciences (AOS), creating Maritech Intelligence Systems, which launched two key platforms: MIST™ and MADEN™. MIST serves as a digital twin of the oceans, merging remote and in-situ sensors to provide precise maritime awareness and predictions. MADEN offers a resilient edge intelligence network for extensive maritime operations, addressing challenges like pollution detection and illegal fishing.

These platforms operate on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring secure global deployment while meeting regulatory standards. Maritech combines expertise in ocean acoustics and AI, enabling rapid, accurate analysis of ocean data. The technology has potential applications in predicting significant climate events like El Niño, which could impact economies and societies worldwide.

Turner emphasizes that Maritech delivers unprecedented maritime intelligence, merging science, sustainability, and advanced computing to support critical decision-making in real time.
