The International Propeller Club has officially launched its Norwegian branch, aiming to foster connections within the global maritime sector. This initiative combines expertise from various fields such as shipping, finance, and technology, enhancing Norway’s influence in maritime affairs. Regional committees across Norway aim to unite stakeholders from all sectors to promote both local and international business growth.

Founded in 1922 and rebranded as an international club two years ago, the organization has evolved into a significant global network that facilitates dialogue and collaboration among shipping professionals. Dr. Sinem Ogis, President of the Propeller Club of Norway, emphasized the club’s role as a platform for meaningful conversations and lasting business connections, stating that continuity in trade relies on collaboration and innovation.

The launch has garnered strong support from industry leaders, including comments from Yannis Litinas of Simonsen Vogt Wiig, who highlighted the fresh dynamics the club brings to the Norwegian maritime community. Sidsel Norvik of Nor-Shipping expressed enthusiasm for the initiative, noting its potential to enhance international cooperation.
