Gibdock has recently completed several prominent offshore support vessel (OSV) projects, reinforcing its reputation for exceptional service in the offshore industry. The Gibraltar-based ship repair yard has become a trusted partner for major offshore companies by consistently delivering projects on time, within budget, and adhering to high safety and quality standards.
In collaboration with Boskalis, Gibdock has worked on the trailing hopper suction dredger Gateway, the construction support vessel BOKA Southern Ocean, and the multipurpose construction vessel BOKA Fulmar. This year also saw significant repairs on Subsea 7’s Seven Pacific and Technip’s Deep Blue, a specialized rigid pipelay vessel.
Currently, Solstad’s anchor-handling tug supply vessel Normand Pacific is undergoing renewal at Gibdock, with numerous projects lined up for the upcoming year. John Barnard, Gibdock’s Commercial Director, emphasized the company’s strong track record in delivering safe, high-quality services at competitive prices. He encouraged interested parties to engage proactively, even for projects planned years ahead, to ensure tailored support and availability.
