The Bahraini Government, via the Ministry of Interior, has instituted a curfew that restricts all maritime activities during nighttime hours. This measure aims to enhance safety and security in coastal areas.

The curfew came into effect on Sunday, March 29, and will remain in force until further notice. Under this regulation, all maritime activities, including fishing and leisure boating, are banned from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM local time.

Seafarers are strongly encouraged to adhere to the curfew, which specifically prohibits any operations in coastal waters leading to the Persian Gulf. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining order and safety in the region’s maritime zones.
