Rescue Efforts for Missing Man at Mona Vale

On May 28, 2025, three Marine Rescue NSW units from Greater Sydney joined a multi-agency search for a man missing since 11 a.m. the previous day at Mona Vale Beach. Inspector Courtney Greenslade reported that the Marine Rescue Middle Harbour, Broken Bay, and Cottage Point units were deployed by the NSW Police Marine Area Command to assist in the operation.

The Marine Rescue vessels, including Middle Harbour 30, Broken Bay 30, and Cottage Point 30, began a parallel line search between Mona Vale Headland and Turimetta Head at 9 a.m. Conditions were deemed favorable for an offshore search, and the crews planned to continue their efforts throughout the day.
