Singapore and France Collaborate for Maritime Digitalization and Efficiency

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is collaborating with France’s Haropa Port and the Port of Marseille-Fos to enhance port call optimization and maritime digitalization. This partnership aims to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the maritime sector.

As part of this initiative, trials will be conducted with CMA CGM to facilitate ship-to-shore data exchange. The goal is to automate port clearance processes, minimize manual documentation, and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of operational data by utilizing internationally recognized standards.

Teo Eng Dih, Chief Executive of MPA, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “By working together, we aim to advance practical solutions that support a more sustainable and digitally connected maritime future.” This initiative reflects a commitment to innovation and sustainability in maritime operations.
