Minister Bimal Invites Saudi Arabia to Maritime Summit in Colombo

Sri Lanka’s Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, Bimal Rathnayake, has officially invited Saudi Arabia to participate in the upcoming International Maritime Summit in Colombo. This invitation aims to foster collaboration and enhance maritime cooperation between the two nations.

During a recent meeting with Saudi Arabia’s Transport Minister, discussions centered around strengthening bilateral ties and exploring opportunities in maritime transport. Minister Rathnayake emphasized the significance of Saudi Arabia’s involvement, noting that their participation would enrich the summit’s discussions and outcomes.
