V., a global leader in ship management and marine services, has partnered with Greek shipowner Silk Searoad Maritime S.A. to manage their fleet of eight vessels, which includes five bulk carriers and three tankers. This collaboration allows Silk Searoad to leverage V.’s extensive expertise, data-driven platforms, and integrated marine services.

Under this agreement, V. will handle the long-term management and performance of Silk Searoad’s fleet. The support will encompass daily operations, focusing on enhancing crew welfare through robust safety policies, proactive maintenance, and standardized processes, ultimately optimizing vessel performance and regulatory compliance.

Silk Searoad will also benefit from V.’s marine services, including access to Marcas, a contracting association that aggregates purchasing power to secure competitive terms for goods and services.

The vessels will be managed from V.’s Greece office, which boasts over 30 years of experience in ship management and is recognized as the first and largest provider of third-party ship management services in the country. This partnership positions both companies for enhanced operational efficiency and growth in the maritime sector.
