Oceania Cruises, the world’s leading culinary and destination-centric cruise line, has unveiled stunning new entertainment options aboard Vista, the first of two ships in the line’s new Allura class. In addition to introducing new signature dining offerings, destination-rich itineraries and the most luxurious standard accommodations at sea, Oceania Cruises is completely reinventing Vista’s entertainment program, beginning with three uniquely themed shows when she launches in May 2023. Headliners, The Anchor Inn and Into the Night are Broadway-caliber, immersive-style productions featuring signature songs from some of the world’s most beloved artists and contemporary dance numbers, directed by Dancing with the Stars choreographer Britt Stewart.

“With Vista, our first new ship in more than a decade, we’ve worked diligently to raise the bar on every front,” said Frank A. Del Rio, President of Oceania Cruises. “Long known for our stunning design, exquisite culinary offerings and mesmerizing itineraries, it was time to bring that same ‘wow’ to our entertainment programme. This new line-up is groundbreaking for us; these three new productions are just the beginning. We are thrilled to unveil our unprecedented series of upscale entertainment to our guests aboard Vista.”

“I am honored to have the opportunity to develop innovative shows for Oceania Cruises, to push the boundaries of creativity and theatrics, and to assemble a star-studded team with credentials across television, film, Broadway, the West End and beyond encompasses, resulting in programs that are really fresh and entertaining for Vista,” said Kai Alan Carrier, director of Artistic Theatrical Entertainment, a new role created at Oceania Cruises to enhance the entertainment offering. “Since I Knowing that our guests love recognizable songs and, more importantly, are lively and adventurous, I leaned forward with our offerings. The goal was to really offer a fresh perspective, and I know we’ve achieved that .”

Vista will feature three main productions when it launches in May, each with its own personality, with another to follow later in the year. An extensive team of artists, producers and technicians, meticulously assembled by a passionate team dedicated solely to each show, has brought Oceania Cruises’ latest entertainment to life.

Choreographed by renowned Dancing with the Stars pro dancer and choreographer Britt Stewart, Into the Night is a dance-centric show with an unexpected blend of dance, style and design that combines the excitement of the Video Music Awards, the glamor of, intended to evoke “American Idol” and the energetic drive of “Dancing with the Stars”. The show’s contemporary elegance is inspired by the essence of Vista itself. Sophisticated and exciting, Into the Night will leave audiences in awe as it combines dance with design and exudes a powerful emotion that only a live stage show can provide.

Headliners takes guests on a VIP concert tour where a stunning cast performs some of the world’s most iconic songs. Headliners celebrates the music, not just the artist, and approaches pop favorites in an inspirational way that’s just designed to have a great time. Led by the talented singers on board Vista, complete with fun choreography, guests will experience an unforgettable night of music by some of their favorite artists like Cher, Celine Dion, the Bee Gees and Adele like they’ve never seen it before.

The Anchor Inn is a lighthearted song and dance performance with a British focus and a dash of West End flair. At the lively Anchor Inn Pub, a group of regulars celebrate good times, athletic losses and romantic victories to chart-topping artists such as Dusty Springfield, Rod Stewart, Madness, Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones. This hand-clapping, toe-tapping staging will make guests feel resolutely British wherever they sail.

Another edutainment-style production, titled The Music Triangle, will open later this year, telling the roots of almost all the music we love today.
