The Turkish Coast Guard is currently searching for six crew members from a cargo ship that sank off the coast of Turkey. The ship, named Batuhan A, began to sink in the Sea of Marmara due to heavy weather and sea conditions. The Turkish Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, reported that an empty life raft was found during the rescue efforts. The search involved a Coast Guard aircraft, two Coast Guard ships, two Coast Guard boats, and two tugboats, with a Coast Guard helicopter being delayed due to adverse weather conditions.
Yerlikaya shared a video from the Turkish coast guard, showing the empty life raft floating on the waves. The search for the missing crew members is ongoing, with rescue efforts being hampered by the challenging weather conditions. The Turkish Coast Guard is working diligently to locate and rescue the six missing crew members from the sunken cargo ship.
