US boat builder ReconCraft has secured a contract to produce two Combatant Craft Medium (CCM) ships for Norway. The $22,070,151 fixed price contract, which includes options, could be increased to $30,950,521 if all opportunities are taken up. The vessels will be built in Clackamas, Oregon, and are expected to be completed by August 2025. If the options are exercised, the work will continue until January 2026.

The CCM Mk1 craft will offer a payload of four crew members, 19 passengers, and equipment of up to 10,000 lbs, while carrying two MTU 8V2000 M94 engines, each providing 1250 hp. The design has a fuel capacity of up to 1,360 gallons and can reach a top speed of 52 knots. The ships will be constructed using aluminum and designed by Vigor, Michael Peters Yacht Design, and Leidos.
