South Korea has held a joint maritime cybersecurity drill at BEXCO in Busan, bringing together five shipping and ship-management companies, the Korea Coast Guard and industry groups. The exercise tested responses to fake port emails, a compromised software update and malware that cut ship-to-shore communications.
