Seabourn celebrated a historic moment as its two new expedition ships, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture, met for the first time in Antarctica at Neko Harbor. This unique encounter took place as Seabourn Pursuit began its maiden season in Antarctica, while Seabourn Venture was already on its second season sailing in the region. The meeting of the two vessels was marked with a celebratory toast on deck, surrounded by the stunning Antarctic landscape.
The special meeting of the two ships was arranged by Carnival’s ultra-luxury cruise brand, Seabourn, and took place in one of the most picturesque areas in Antarctica. The captains of both ships expressed their excitement and pride at the meeting, marking a new era in ultra-luxury expeditions. Seabourn’s luxury expedition ships, Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture, offer guests an ultra-luxury experience in the expedition cruise market, redefining luxury expedition travel with their advanced technology and design.
Both Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture are built to PC6 Polar Class standards and offer gourmet cuisine, all-suite accommodations, and advanced technology, including a submarine and a fleet of zodiacs for exploration. The ships also offer 11- to 13-day cruises and longer 21-day expeditions to various destinations in Antarctica.
