The Vizhinjam Conclave 2025 is set to take place on January 28 and 29 at the Hyatt Regency in Thiruvananthapuram, with the primary goal of exploring the industrial opportunities associated with the Vizhinjam International Seaport and its ancillary industries. The event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and is expected to draw over 300 delegates and more than 50 investors. The Minister for Industries, P. Rajeeve, anticipates the signing of at least 20 MoUs during the event, which will pave the way for significant economic growth and development in the region.

Organized by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) and Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited (VISL), in collaboration with the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (TCCI), the conclave aims to attract investments in various sectors beyond the seaport. Representatives from globally renowned companies with substantial investments in port projects will also be present, marking a significant milestone for Kerala. Panel discussions, fireside chats, and presentations on investment opportunities in Kerala will be key highlights of the event, along with exclusive sessions geared towards orienting potential investors.

In addition to exploring investment opportunities, the conclave will focus on creating employment opportunities beyond the port’s direct workforce through associated industries. Efforts will also be made to engage local communities and position Vizhinjam as a model for inclusive development. The event aims to assess opportunities for Kerala-based companies and startups, ensuring a robust platform for local businesses to thrive. The Vizhinjam Conclave 2025 is poised to be a landmark event that will drive economic growth and development in the region.
