Canadian company Vision Marine Technologies has expanded its offerings from advanced outboard motors to all-electric boats, recently unveiling two new electric pontoon models: the V24 and V30. The V24 accommodates 12 passengers, while the larger V30 can hold 15. Both models boast a range of up to 90 nautical miles, powered by Vision’s innovative E-Motion technology.
With over 25 years in the marine industry, Vision has made headlines for its E-Motion powertrain, which previously helped set a speed record of 109 mph in a catamaran speedboat. The V24, measuring 24 feet 8 inches, features a 180 hp electric system and a standard 43 kWh battery, allowing for 40 nautical miles of range. An optional second battery pack increases total capacity to 86 kWh, extending the range to 90 nautical miles.
The V30 offers a sportier design with similar powertrain options and enhanced features, including interior speakers and cool-touch seats. Both models come with an integrated onboard charger compatible with various dock plug configurations. The V24 starts at $99,995, while the V30 begins at $139,995, with orders now open.
