This partnership aims to cater to boat manufacturers, marinas, ports, sporting organizations, and government agencies. Seavolt offers marine-grade chargers ranging from 7kW to 360kW, supported by micro-grid solar power systems, capable of quickly replenishing workboat batteries with renewable electricity.
RAD Propulsion, based in the UK, brings its RAD 40 electric drive system to the collaboration. This system features advanced technologies such as drive-by-wire control, GPS, Wi-Fi, GSM, NMEA connectivity, and the RADTag intelligent key system. The CEOs of both companies expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing their shared mission to reduce carbon emissions in the maritime industry by offering smarter, cleaner, and more accessible electric propulsion solutions.
