Kongsberg Maritime has entered into a framework agreement with Noble Corporation to co-develop advanced marine technologies for the offshore drilling industry. This strategic partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency, risk assessment, and sustainability through innovative solutions.
The collaboration will kick off with a pilot project on the drillship Noble Sam Croft, scheduled for later in 2025. This initiative will pave the way for a series of joint development programs, combining Kongsberg’s technology portfolio with Noble’s extensive operational expertise and modern fleet of 21 floaters.
This agreement is expected to accelerate innovation cycles and deliver user-centric solutions, creating new value for offshore operators. Jouni Raatikainen, Executive Vice President of Global Customer Support at Kongsberg Maritime, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that it aligns with their commitment to support energy transition and sustainability goals in the industry.
