Marine Resources has launched the third edition of its Marine Industry Salary & Employment Survey, recognized as the UK’s most comprehensive examination of compensation, benefits, and employment trends in the marine and maritime sectors. This survey aims to reflect the current workforce realities by gathering insights from professionals and employers across various industries, including leisure, superyacht, maritime, and commercial marine sectors. It encompasses a wide range of roles, from Marine Trades and Engineering to Sales, Marketing, and Operations, with each response contributing to a clearer industry overview.

Established as the primary benchmark for salary and employment data within the UK marine industry, the Marine Resources survey provides crucial intelligence for both businesses and individuals. It assists companies in enhancing their recruitment and retention strategies while helping professionals gauge their market value and make informed career choices.

In addition to individual responses, Marine Resources will collaborate directly with marine businesses to collect confidential salary and role data, ensuring a more accurate market representation. All shared information will remain strictly confidential. Companies interested in participating are encouraged to contact the Marine Resources team to contribute.

James Ward, Managing Director at Marine Resources, emphasized the survey’s goal: “Our aim is to create a clear and independent snapshot of where the industry stands today.” He noted that insights from various sectors will help identify opportunities and challenges within the industry. All responses are anonymous, and the findings will form the basis for the 2026 Salary & Employment Report, set to be published early that year. Marine Resources invites all individuals in the marine and maritime sectors to participate in this essential industry research.
