VPS has unveiled Maress 2.0, an advanced digital platform focused on marine decarbonization. This updated version enhances the monitoring of main engine and emissions equipment performance for offshore vessels, offering users improved analytics and high-resolution insights. With a robust data validation engine, Maress 2.0 empowers users to optimize vessel and fleet performance while ensuring data reliability.

The platform provides actionable insights across various levels, allowing for comparisons between vessels and tracking of individual vessel progress over time. This functionality aids in identifying efficiency and cost-saving opportunities. Key features include flexible reporting, integrated daily weather insights, year-on-year comparisons, and support for alternative fuels, including biofuels. Additionally, the platform offers a new Data Quality & MRV Validation module to ensure trustworthy data.

Jan Wilhelmsson, COO of Digital & Decarbonisation at VPS, emphasized that Maress 2.0 strengthens a platform already utilized by nearly 700 vessels, enhancing analytics and data clarity.
