A significant warehouse fire erupted in Hamburg, Germany, on August 25, leading to a series of explosions from gas canisters stored on-site. The blaze, which began with a parked car, injured at least ten people and disrupted local shipping operations. Firefighters faced challenges as explosions sent debris flying, injuring three firefighters and a motorist.

To combat the fire, special equipment, including fireboats and mobile water cannons, was deployed. The nearby Airbus factory closed due to smoke but contributed heavy machinery to assist firefighting efforts. Evacuations were carried out using boats, rescuing 25 individuals trapped in the area without injury, though some sustained serious injuries.

By Tuesday, 120 firefighters remained, with remnants of the fire expected to smolder for days.
