Ocean Network Express (ONE) has unveiled the ONE Singapore, a 13,900-TEU container vessel, at the Hiroshima Shipyard of Imabari Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. This marks the sixth addition in a series of 20 ammonia/methanol-ready vessels, contributing to the company’s fleet expansion efforts.
CEO Jeremy Nixon highlighted the significance of the naming ceremony, stating, “The ONE Singapore represents our ongoing commitment to fleet expansion.” He emphasized that the vessel’s name reflects ONE’s strong ties to Singapore’s dynamic maritime sector.
As the company prepares to deploy the ONE Singapore, it reinforces its dedication to Singapore, recognizing the city-state’s pivotal role as a leading international maritime hub. This milestone aligns with ONE’s strategic goals and showcases its commitment to sustainable shipping practices.
