SAAM Towage has achieved the PAS 2060 international certification for the third consecutive year in Brazil, confirming its carbon-neutral operations in the country. This certification underscores the company’s commitment to sustainability.

To maintain this certification, SAAM Towage has implemented measures to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions, alongside purchasing carbon credits to offset 100% of these emissions. This proactive approach highlights the company’s dedication to energy efficiency and environmental management.

As part of its broader Sustainability Strategy, SAAM Towage aims to further reduce and offset greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. The company operates in 18 Brazilian ports, utilizing a fleet of over 67 tugs and employing approximately 700 staff members.
