UAE marine services provider CCC Underwater Engineering (CCCUWE) has successfully completed sea trials for its latest dive support and construction vessel, Wadad Aletheia. This 149.5-meter-long, multi-purpose ice-class vessel is designed for global subsea operations and is equipped with a DP3 system and an aft working deck spanning 1,850 square meters. The vessel also features MacGregor knuckle boom cranes, a moonpool, and a twin bell saturation diving system for 24 divers.
With accommodations for 200 personnel in compliance with MLC 2006 regulations, Wadad Aletheia also boasts a Fifi2 system with remotely controlled monitors and a hangar for two work-class remotely operated vehicles (WROVs). CCCUWE anticipates taking delivery of the vessel by the third quarter of 2024, with a maximum endurance of 60 days and the capability to operate in coastal waters.
The new dive support vessel is expected to enhance CCCUWE’s capabilities in underwater engineering projects in the MENA region, particularly in the United Arab Emirates. Wadad Aletheia’s advanced features and cutting-edge technology position it as a valuable asset for the company’s future operations.
