ZeroNorth, a technology company, has announced the acquisition and management of Euronav’s Fleet Automatic Statistics and Tracking (FAST) platform. This platform collects high-frequency data in real time from sensors across Euronav’s fleet and has significantly improved collaboration between ships and shore departments, as well as reduced fuel consumption and operational expenses. The plan is for ZeroNorth and Euronav to integrate FAST’s data and functionality with the ZeroNorth platform, which will drive ZeroNorth’s data flywheel and accelerate the industry’s green transition. This partnership aims to radically accelerate the digitalization of shipping and make a positive impact on the planet.
Pelle Sommansson, Chief Growth Officer & EVP, ZeroNorth, expressed excitement about the partnership with Euronav and the potential to accelerate the transformation and sustainability strategies of the global fleet.
