India Launches First Maritime Simulation Centre at AMET University

India’s inaugural Maritime Simulation Centre was launched at AMET Knowledge Park near Chennai by Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. This ₹13.5 crore facility, a collaboration between AMET and A.P. Moller-Maersk, features advanced simulators and AR/VR labs, enhancing maritime training for cadets and bridging academic education with real-world application.
