INTERTANKO has opened its Ports with Challenging Water Quality Database to non-members to improve understanding of ballast water management challenges. Shipowners are encouraged to contribute reports to assist vessels facing difficult conditions. The database aims to enhance decision-making onboard and at ports where BWMS may struggle, ultimately improving compliance with regulations.
