Collaboration to Advance Battery-Hybrid Maritime Propulsion
RINA has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korea’s Hanwha Group to enhance battery-hybrid propulsion systems in the maritime sector. This collaboration, involving Hanwha affiliates, aims to develop hybrid solutions for new vessels and retrofits, particularly in the roll-on/roll-off ferry segment, promoting lower-emission vessels.
