Old Cargo Ship Sinks While Being Towed Because of Flooding in the Engine Room
The crew of the tug Capt. Beau faced numerous challenges when towing the aging freighter Carib Trader II from Miami to Haiti. The vessel, with a history of inspection deficiencies and drug smuggling, took on water, sank, and was determined to have likely had an unidentified leak in the engine room.
