MSC Cruises is making significant strides in the cruise industry with a $4 billion investment in two new World Class vessels. Announced in Saint-Nazaire, this commitment increases MSC’s total investment to $12 billion for eight ships. The new vessels, set for completion in 2030 and 2031, will feature innovative, energy-efficient designs.
The second luxury superyacht for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, named Ilma, completed sea trials off the coast of France. Designed by Aivan, the ship features a sleek exterior inspired by private yacht design. With larger size and traditional layout, Ilma will accommodate 448 passengers in 224 suites, offering ultra-luxury amenities.
Royal Caribbean Group has entered an agreement to order another giant cruise ship, expanding its post-pandemic prospects. The new Oasis-class ship will be the group’s seventh and is expected to arrive in 2028.
