Korea Advances Smart Maritime Services with New Ocean IoT Network
The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) is collaborating with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to develop a maritime Internet of Things (IoT) communication network across Korea’s coastal waters. This initiative aims to enhance maritime safety and services by enabling real-time monitoring and management of navigation aids and facilities nationwide.
