ECSA Advocates for Strategy to Enhance Shipping Competitiveness and Sustainability
The European Community Shipowners’ Association (ECSA) stresses the need for a European Maritime Industrial Strategy within the new Clean Industrial Deal. With European shipping controlling 39.5% of global tonnage, the strategy aims to enhance competitiveness, promote green and digital transition, and invest in new skills for a sustainable future. President von der Leyen has committed to including this strategy in the upcoming Clean Industrial Deal.
