ONGC to Build Platform Supply Vessels Through Domestic Shipbuilders
India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) is reaching out to public sector shipyards to construct four Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) under a government initiative to bolster domestic shipbuilding. These vessels are vital for supporting offshore oil and gas operations, enhancing self-reliance in maritime infrastructure. Costs range from $15 million to $54 million.
