New Bezeq Subsea Internet Cable Aims to Boost Global Connectivity
Bezeq Israel Telecom has begun deploying a high-speed subsea cable to connect Europe and Asia, reducing dependence on the Strait of Hormuz, which carries 17% of global broadband traffic. Chairman Tomer Raved stated this initiative will ease congestion for Gulf countries and position Israel as a vital digital hub.
